Have you ever been in a silly funk that doesn’t even make sense?

Last week I was feeling so “off” and I just couldn’t shake it.

I couldn’t put my finger on it, but I was just bummed out & sad about how people are showing up in this world and treating others. My concerns and worries seemed silly because there is really not a lot I can do about the major world issues.

I just kept wishing that I could make a huge public announcement saying…

“If each and every one of us practiced one act of kindness each day we could solve so many world problems!”

I tried meditating, praying, exercising, cleaning, shopping and just about everything else… and nothing was changing my internal and external energy.

Randomly on Friday morning I decided to book a massage for that night with the amazing, energy healing, massage therapist at my spa.

And…

Immediately, magical things started happening:

• I suddenly felt better.
• I had more energy.
• Clients that I haven’t seen in years started calling to book appointments.
• All of the open spots that I had on my schedule for the next 2 days filled last minute with new clients!
• The day started feeling amazing.

Believe it or not, this all happened before I got the massage!

Suddenly I realized something so important:

I hadn’t done anything nice or nurturing for myself in a long time, so I guess I had nothing left to give anyone else and the universe was backing up what I had created.

My business-building lesson to share with you is: do not forget how important self-care is.

“How you treat yourself is how you are inviting the world to treat you.”
