Cheryl Janis’s 3 design tips:

1. Color – choose the right paint color for your space (don’t paint your wall yellow-green)
2. Lighting – layer your lighting and avoid fluorescent lights
3. Shapes – look at your space and balance the squares with the curves

I would suggest going either with incandescent light or LED lighting that is on the warm scale, and I would recommend avoiding any of the compact fluorescents.” – Cheryl Janis
