3 Ways to Get More Clients. Now!

Nearly everyone who is in business shares a common goal. We all want more clients. Or at least we all need to know how to get more clients when we want – or need – them.

No matter how full your practice is and how happy your existing clients are, things can – and do – happen all the time. Even your best clients have life changes and some of these can cause them to move away leaving a void in your previously full biz.

No one is served well by you playing small. Get out there and get those clients!

Today, I’m sharing my top 3 tried and true methods so you can start using them to keep your practice full.

  1. Pay attention to what’s working and create more of it.Example: I get a ton of new clients from online social networking sites like Yelp. When I started paying attention to just how many new clients were coming from my Yelp listing, I created little review referral cards, and now, I hand them out after checkout.

Here’s what I say, “If you enjoyed your time here today I would love it if your could take a moment to share a review on Yelp. The positive reviews really help support the spa.”

  1. Encourage your warm clients (AKA current clients) who already know like and trust you to tell their friends and family about you and the services you offer. This is easily accomplished by simply sending a regular newsletter reminding them that you truly appreciate any friend, family member or co-worker that they send to your beauty biz. When your business is thriving, you are thriving and this means you’ll continue to be there to be of service to them.
  1. Get out of your comfort zone and hand out two business cards per week. Here’s how to pull this one off in a super effective manner:Know who your BCE is (BCE = best client ever). Your BCE is the person who not only needs what you offer but also someone who you would love to have as a client.

Create a short and sweet networking success script. These scripts help us feel prepared and confident to share our offerings.

“Hi, my name is __________ and I would love the opportunity to earn your biz.”

Hand them your card with a big beautiful smile and then, let the universe do its thing. If this person is meant to be your client, then it will be.

These steps may feel simplistic and slightly out of your comfort zone but don’t understate their power. They really work well. When you meet interesting people, never be afraid to share what you do. Trust me, people want to know.
