Are you on Instagram yet? I am and I LOVE it!

But I have to tell you that I actually was going to sit out on this social media platform – that’s right, I held back on setting up an Instagram account for three reasons:

I thought…

1. It’s for “younger” people.

2. It’s too complicated.

3. I am too busy.

Yes, that was my mindset just a year ago. But then, someone said this to me…

You are leaving thousands of dollars on the table by not having this type of social media exposure for your spa.

What?!?

Well, you know what comes next in this story. Yes, I hopped on the Instagram train, and guess what?

I am attracting new clients into my treatment room directly from it. But that’s not even the BEST part! The best part is that I am also attracting clients who I haven’t seen in ages back into my treatment room!

Seriously, I posted a silly masking selfie, and a client I haven’t seen in 5 years texted me 5 minutes later to say, “I see you masking on Instagram… can I get a facial this week?”

So, that silly little Instagram selfie upped my income by $350.00 that week! Cool, right? And, that’s not an isolated incident or a fluke of some kind. I’m getting a lot of activity – and great feedback – in response to what I’m doing on there. Turns out that Instagram is an awesome platform for our industry!
