What do you and Bamboo have in common?
What do you and Bamboo have in common?
1. Bamboo and you have the ability to bend and not break.
High-quality bamboo is stronger than steel, and so are you.
I find most successful people understand that when the going gets tough you have to “go with the flow” and bend a bit, if you resist too much… that’s when we “break” or simply give up on our dreams.
Cherish your strength.
2. Bamboo and you are often associated with being Zen-like and relaxing.
I often tell my clients that a facial is so much more than just a facial. If I can provide you an hour of relaxation, that is the most anti-aging gift I can give you.
Don’t underestimate the value in your offerings… YOU provide a space to help people relax and remove stress. This is powerful.
3. Bamboo and you can thrive in ALL climates.
This is one of the most beautiful things about our industry. You can build success almost anywhere.
Here are a few statements that I have heard from private esthetician coaching clients of mine…
“I live in a really small town. It’s so hard to build biz here.”
“I live in New Hampshire it’s so cold here that no one will ever want a spray tan.”
Once I help them realize how much business is out there, how to shift their mindset to a place of abundance, and where to start marketing their services to the clients they want to attract, amazing things start to take place in their beauty biz world… no matter where they live.
Example: Weddings take place all over our nation and brides love beauty services. Acne is not selective, it shows up in every city, state and town. And, who doesn’t need an occasional lip wax? 🙂
4. Bamboo is used in Chinese medicine for treating infections and healing.
I know we are not MD’s, but we do offer therapeutic treatments and help client’s clear infections. I believe we are all healers in a very special way.
5. In India Bamboo is a symbol of friendship.
Isn’t it true that many of our clients view us as “friends” they can confide in.
Gratitude Moment Here: We are blessed to work in an industry where we can build beautiful relationships.
6. Bamboo is believed to be a symbol of good fortune and success by Feng Shui followers, and is becoming increasingly popular.
Who doesn’t need a bit of good fortune and success in their world? Next time you’re out, why not pick up a bamboo plant for your workspace?
